Sunright Mission
Sunright Tea Studio bottles the sunshine spirit of Southern California into chilled tea elixirs that fuse premium ingredients from Eastern and Western cultures. As a "Tea Studio," not just a shop, Sunright approaches tea with artistic passion - sourcing mist-kissed leaves from remote farms to craft customized flavor and texture medleys. Their core ingredients, like Ceylon black and jasmine green teas, steep centuries of cultivation history into each blend.
Sunright Tea Studio takes pride in its selection of ingredients. They combine these teas with locally sourced additions like Califia non-dairy milk and Yakult probiotics in creative concoctions celebrating SoCal's cross-cultural cuisine. Offerings like horchata tea or Oreo cookie boba let the flavors harmonize in delightful fusions. From the sun-soaked tea leaves to the welcoming warmth of their shops, Sunright's blends bottle up the California melting pot - inviting you to shake up your day with snapshots of global culture in a cup, soaked in Golden State sunshine. Every chilled sip melts away barriers between Eastern and Western traditions, steeping together the best of both worlds.
Their Signature, "Shake 17 times," adds taste to the drinks. Sunright Tea Studio currently offers IN-STORE PICKUP ORDER in 5 US states. It also provides rewards and gift cards to their valued customers.

Customers appreciate the variety of tea drinks and customization options at Sunright Tea Studio, from lighter Jasmine brûlée lattes to thicker, creamier boba drinks. The quality of the drinks seems hit or miss depending on the order, with some wishing for bolder tea flavors in options like matcha. Even when quite busy, Sunright staff provide attentive and thoughtful treatment of all customers. So, while drinks may range in flavor profiles and preparation consistency, Sunright Tea Studio wins loyalty through its top-notch, hospitable service.

SongHak
korean BBq
11:30am-10:30pm
Established in 2015 as 'SongHak' in California, Their focus at Song Hak Korean BBQ is on delivering an exceptional Gopchang Story BBQ experience. Specializing in prime-grade beef intestines like Gopchang, Daechang, Makchang, and traditional Korean barbecue meats, our dishes are meticulously prepared by Korean Master chefs. With a commitment to quality and authenticity, we invite you to savor the true essence of Korean cuisine at Song Hak Korean BBQ.
Songhak KBBQ history
As the evening stretches into late-night hours, Songhak BBQ keeps serving steaming plates and pouring soju long after other Korean BBQ joints close up shop. Night owl diners can order off the full menu until 1am on weekdays and 2am on weekends. Late-night specials like spicy pork bone stew, knife-cut noodle soups, and Korean-style street food snacks also emerge once evening fades to night. After a long day or night out, Koreatown partiers, hungry students, and industry crews all know Songhak as the spot for delicious steam-grill fare with boisterous fun no matter the hour.

We had great experience at Songhak BBQ. Our server guided us through the menu, the custom of wraps in lettuce leaves, and timing the various proteins from rare to crispy. Full of flavor and fun, Songhak offered a genuinely transportive experience right in the heart of LA's Koreatown.

We ordered the pork belly and beef bulgogi to grill right at our table. The thick-cut, spice-rubbed pork belly crisped up to fatty perfection. The bulgogi, savory-sweet marinated beef, absorbed the smoky flavors wonderfully. Our meal came with the traditional banchan of kimchi, bean sprouts, shredded radish, greens, and rice. We also couldn’t pass up trying the Seen Doe Jee, marinated ox tongue-sliced paper-thin.
What we had…
The LA Galbi Marinated Beef Short Ribs stand out as Songhak’s signature dish. These meaty short ribs are seasoned with a house blend of soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and sweet rice wine for a perfectly balanced depth of flavor. The ribs achieve a nice char over the hot coals, developing a lovely crisp edge, while the interior fat and connective tissue render a fork-tender texture. Wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves with rice, kimchi, and ssamjang sauce, each rib makes for a sublime all-in-one bite.

Of all the standout offerings, Songhak’s Volcano Hot Pot appears most often, gracing the tables of loyal regulars. This bubbling cauldron of kimchi broth, udon noodles, vegetables, and sliced meat simmers furiously at your table. The dish offers a palate-tingling jolt of heat tempered by the cool and chewy rice cakes. Diners most enjoy gathering around the Volcano Pot, cooking their proteins by dipping them into the raging broth. It makes for the ultimate interactive dining experience with friends.
